About Me
Everyone wants a well behaved dog who is friendly with people and other dogs and easy to manage at home. I'm Mark and I can teach you how to achieve this with your dog. I've been a dog owner all my life, training and associating with formal training clubs as well as home schooling my own and other dogs. I hold a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training under the National Dog Trainers Federation and spend Sunday mornings running dog obedience classes on Magnetic Island.

Beginner Course
In my four week, one on one beginner course I teach you how to train your dog so they can be better managed at home and a pleasure to walk and socialise. You will learn different training techniques and how dogs learn. We will teach your dog basic obedience such as loose leash walking, heel, recall, sit, down and stand.
At the end of the beginner course you will be a confident dog handler with a dog that has a basic level of obedience.

Group Classes
If you would like to take your training further, I run group training classes in Nelly Bay on Sunday mornings. All dogs and handlers that have completed the beginner course start in the Foundation One class and can then progress through different levels as their skills improve.
This is all done in a non-competitive environment where you progress at your own pace and have a lot of fun along the way.

Behavioural Modification
Some dogs need training beyond obedience. I work with these dogs by appointment rather than in group sessions.
Issues include separation anxiety, barking, resource guarding, destructive behaviour, boundary aggression, fear aggression and all types of reactivity.

Walk & Train
We all lead busy lives and our circumstances can change so we don't always have the time to provide our dogs with the amount of exercise and training we would like. I will walk your dog and teach them basic manners on the leash along the way. I will teach them to walk on a loose leash, wait for permission to cross roads and to calmly walk past people and other dogs.
I also schedule time with you to show you what your dog has learned so you can enjoy the time that you do have to spend with your dog.
